(Step One: A Formal Introduction) Dear Taron Egerton,
(Step Two: Introduce yourself. It might seem stupid, but they would genuinely like to know about you if you're writing to them!) My name is Brittany (LN). I currently attend high school and only have three weeks left! I'm headed to university in September and I'm hoping to major in English and double-minor in French and Drama.
(Step Three: Give Praise! Always open with praise.) I saw you recently in the film Kingsman: The Secret Service, and I thought you were fantastic! After doing some research, I watched The Smoke and Testament of Youth, and I thought you were fantastic in those as well. I love what you've done so far, and I'm beyond stoked to see what else you bring to the table. I'm probably going to see both Legend and Eddie. I also love how you portray Eggsy and I'm super excited for Kingsman 2! You really stand out to me as a wonderful talent and that's why I'm writing you this letter.
(Step Four: Insert whatever else you want to say.) Anyway, I hope that what you do in the future is wonderful and that you and Jamie, Colin, and Sophie stay friends forever, they seem like wonderful friendships that you have formed with cast-mates.
I also wanted to apologize for the Egertonians who have invaded your privacy and posted personal photos of you on websites. I don't think that you deserve your privacy breached just because you have chosen a career that involves spotlight. I want you to know that those of us who are true fans respect your privacy and love you no matter what you choose to share with us and what you don't. I hope you understand that there are some of us out there who genuinely respect you and do not view you as simply an object.
(Step Five: Come up with a good closing sentence!) Thank you for being such an inspiration to me, your career will be an astounding one for the world!
(Step Six: Close off kindly, not creepily.) Kindest Regards,
Brittany (LN).

(Step Seven: Request an autographed photo or returned letter here). P.S: If you have time, could you sign the photo I've included and send it in the Self Addressed Stamped Envelope I've included? If not, that's totally fine. Thanks so much!
(Step Eight: Include Instagram and Twitter usernames if you desire.) My twitter username is @bookishbrittles :)

A Little in Love by Susan Fletcher - Book Review
I recently fell nearly in love with a stranger. He was a fine young bloke, very attractive, and friendly beyond measure. That reminded me that I needed to review this book.
This book was essentially an expansion of Eponine's story from Les Miserables. Normally, I am not a fan of fan-fiction-y things (unless it's Hartwin. teehee), but I actually adored this book. Fletcher expands on Eponine's story in a believable way, and her writing is almost reminiscent of Hugo's, which is beyond fantastic.
The plot-line starts from the very beginning of Eponine's childhood and ends at her death, going slightly beyond. Fletcher takes some time to flesh in the story that we don't get to hear when we read Hugo's original brick. We also get to hear her feelings throughout the entire story. I love that Fletcher made it very obvious that Ponine was the dreamer in her family, truly not wanting to steal and wanting to be happy. It makes Ponine even more likeable than she is in the brick.
We get to read about her adventures in Paris, her re-meeting with Gavroche, and the little things that she does to brighten people's days, which gives her a lot more heart than we originally see. I also like the character that Fletcher gives to Marius. She sticks to what he is like in the brick, but also fleshes him out a little more. We can see more easily why Eponine so easily fell for Marius in the brick when we read this book.
All in all, this is a fantastic book, one I may some day force my children or loved ones to read. It's so heart-warming (I bawled my eyes out at the end) and it makes one love Ponine even more than they do already. Eponine not only gets her story told, but is given a voice in this novel.
I give this book 9.5/10 stars.
"Perhaps I live too and always will, for love is the strongest thing of all - and love never dies, never dies." -Quotation from the novel.

The One Where I Introduce Myself
Hello there, people of the Internet!
The title of this post rather makes it self-explanatory, so hi! I'm Brittany. I'm 17, and one of my absolute favourite past times is reading. Because I love it so much, I've decided to share my love with you. On here, I'll probably share what I'm up to, possibly post about my Carrie's Book Club boxes, other book clubs I'm in, and share random thoughts with you.
Because I work in a library, I figure that it shouldn't be too hard to find things to write about, when I'm not writing about books.
Here's to hoping this all goes well!
